PRECAUTIONS & IMPORTANT TIPS
To ensure the product performs well and to maintain eye safety, please note the following:
1. Application & Removal
- Gentle Removal is Key: This is a long-wearing, polymer-based mascara. Use a dedicated oil-based or bi-phase (oil-and-water) makeup remover. Soak a cotton pad and hold it against your closed eye for 10-15 seconds to dissolve the film before wiping away. This prevents excessive rubbing and lash loss.
- Avoid Pumping the Wand: Pumping the wand in and out of the tube introduces air, which can dry out the formula faster and lead to clumping. Instead, swirl the wand inside the tube to pick up product.
- Do Not Let It Dry Between Coats: As mentioned, apply subsequent coats while the previous one is still tacky for a seamless, clump-free build.
2. Safety & Hygiene
- Close Contact Warning: Avoid applying mascara to the very base of the inner lash line (the waterline), as it can block oil glands and potentially cause irritation or styes.
- Discontinue Use if Irritation Occurs: If you experience any redness, itching, or swelling, stop using the product immediately.
- Do Not Share Mascara: This is a personal care item. Sharing can transfer bacteria and lead to eye infections.
- Replace Regularly: Discard the mascara after 3-6 months of opening, or as soon as you notice a change in smell, texture, or performance.
3. Storage
- Avoid high temperature storage. Keep out of reach of infants and children.
HOW TO APPLY FOR BEST RESULTS
To achieve the perfect lengthened and curled look, follow these steps:
1: Prime Your Lashes
- Start with clean, dry lashes. If you use an eyelash curler, do it now, before applying mascara. The formula is designed to lock in a curl, not create one from a straight position.
2: Apply from the Base
- Looking straight ahead into a mirror, place the wand at the very base of your upper lashes.
- Gently wiggle the wand back and forth as you pull it up and through to the tips. This "wiggle" technique helps to coat every lash evenly from the root, which is key for maximum volume and lift.
3: Build the Length & Curl
- Apply a second coat while the first is still slightly damp. The polymer-based formula layers best when wet. For extreme length, you can focus the second coat on the tips of your lashes.
- Avoid applying too many coats (more than 2-3) as this can lead to clumping, as the polymer film can build up excessively.
4: Define Lower Lashes & Corners
- Use the very tip of the wand to carefully coat your lower lashes and the tiny lashes in the inner and outer corners of your eyes. This adds definition and makes your eyes appear larger.
5: Let it Set
- Allow a few seconds for the formula to fully set. Remember, it contains a fast-evaporating solvent, so it will dry down to a smudge-proof finish quickly.
